At Passalacqua, Easter is a time of gifts, a celebration of spring
At Passalacqua, we honor the warm, joyful, convivial spirit of la Pasqua italiana with a series of activities that begin on the first day of April and continue through the Easter weekend to culminate on Pasquetta – Easter Monday. Each of these ten days brings an enticing experiential gift. It might be a grounding in the delicate art of Easter egg painting, a cooking lesson centered on that most Italian of Easter cakes, the Colomba, or a guided flower-picking and bouquet-making activity.
Meanwhile, the chef and kitchen team are cooking up an Easter menu that aims to showcase the best of Italy’s seasonal treats. A couple of dishes associated with the festivities will appear on the restaurant menu each day from April 1 to April 8, while after our traditional Easter egg hunt on the morning of Easter Sunday, guests will be offered a dedicated menù di Pasqua at both lunch and dinner. Easter Monday is a day when Italians traditionally eat al fresco – a tradition that Passalacqua will honor with a ‘chic-nic’ and Ofyr barbecue in our terraced gardens, accompanied by a buffet of tempting Easter sweets and desserts.
But Passalacqua’s celebration of spring on Lake Como begins right now. The three weeks before our countdown to Easter begins on 1 April are dedicated to lovers of the lake at its most tranquil. Join us to discover the joys of early spring and the pleasures of la nuova villeggiatura in a hotel whose restaurant and gardens are open exclusively to Passalacqua guests.
